Senior Exhibition Sales & Sponsorship Executive ‘New Launch Exhibition’

As part of our ambitious expansion plans we are launching a new consumer exhibition with an associated print and online magazine.
This is a high level appointment and offers excellent career prospects.
The successful candidate will be a top grade sales professional with drive, ambition, tenacity and passion for the exhibition and publishing business.
Location :- Northern Ireland & the Republic of Ireland
Reporting to :- Sales & Marketing Director
Purpose of job :- Generating revenue from selling exhibition space and sponsorship, plus associated advertising platforms.
Key Responsibilities :-
- To ensure personal targets are achieved
- To ensure company sales strategy is adhered to
- To identify the target audience and develop business opportunities
- To prepare professional prospects and sell directly by telephone sales and field sales
- To contribute to the profitable development of the business
- To achieve weekly KPI’s in terms of call rate, series bookings and sales targets.
Candidate Profile :-
- Customer focused with a proven track record of success
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a media or direct selling role
- Proven track record of achieving targets in a competitive environment
- Target driven, highly motivated and results orientated
- Good reporting skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- As this is a new exhibition, the ability to cold call, develop new business, build relationships and convince clients to buy into a new launch are essential.
Other :-
Be prepared to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business outside of normal working hours when required.
Be prepared to travel throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland and attend relevant functions as and when required.
Clean & current driving licence is required.
Salary up to £35k + car + benefits + excellent career prospects

Senior Media Sales Executive – GO Magazine & GO Online (‘New Launch’)
Building upon a track record of success over the last 7 years, GO has established itself as Northern Ireland’s No.1 lifestyle and entertainment magazine.
Go is aimed at the 20-44 male/female market.
GO online is an exciting new launch providing a unique print and online for our clients.
Location: Northern Ireland
Reporting to: Sales & Marketing Director
Purpose of Job: Generating advertising revenues from new and existing Direct and Advertising Agency clients in order to achieve personal targets set for print and online within the magazine portfolio.
To identify and develop new business opportunities from the core advertiser base as well as all potential new advertisers from your given territory or client list.
To meet agreed targets set on a consistent basis within the sales policy parameters set (eg minimum rate).
To offer clients a total Group sell e.g. print, online, sponsorships, to best achieve their objectives.
To prepare proposals and client correspondence.
To develop and deliver presentations to clients.
To contribute to the strategic development of the business.
To support commercial production.
To keep abreast of developments in the media and commercial advertising sectors.
To support other members of the sales team as and when required.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years experience in customer facing role.
Minimum of 3 years experience in customer direct selling role.
Proven track record in a media sales environment .
Proven experience of achieving targets in a competitive sales environment.
Proven experience of prospecting and delivering for new business (particularly in the hospitality and fashion market would be an advantage)
Knowledge:
Understanding of the media and advertising sectors in Northern Ireland.
Good contact network
Knowledge of media sales processes desirable.
Skills:
Confident in sales and able to work with minimum supervision
Good oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Computer literate.
Able to present to both internal and external customers at management level.
